SLAF Station Colombo and SLAF Trade Training School Ekala emerged as the Men’s and Women's Champions respectively at the Inter Unit Judo Championship 2018 which was concluded on 28 March 2018 at the Indoor Stadium at SLAF Base Katunayake.

Over 200 Judokas took part in the championship. SLAF Station BIA and SLAF Station Colombo became Men's and Women's Runners Up in their categories.
Director Administration Air Vice Marshal CP Welikala graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chairman SLAF Judo Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando, Officers and Other ranks were also present on the occasion.
