Regiment Training School Vanni and SLAF Base Anuradhapura emerged Men's and Women's Champions at the Inter unit Hockey Championship 2018 which was concluded on 29 March 2018 at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala.

SLAF Station BIA and SLAF Trade Training School Ekala secured the runner up in the men's and women's categories.

Director Ground Operations Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chairman SLAF Hockey Air Commodore HN Abeysinghe, Officers and other ranks witnessed the event.
