Chief of the Indian Naval Staff calls on Air Force Head Quarters.

Chief of the Indian Naval Staff Admiral Nirmal Verma, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, called on the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Roshan Gunatilleke today (28th of June) at Air Force Head Quarters.
The Indian Naval Chief was accorded a guard of Honour by SLAF troops at the entrance to AFHQ. The two Chief's next sat down for a brief informal discussion after which they exchanged mementos.
The Indian Naval Chief was next introduced to the Air Force Board of Mangement by Air Chief Marshal Gunatilleke. The event was concluded after the visiting dignitary was hosted to tea in the Commanders Board Room.
The visit underscores the goodwill and close ties between the Indian and Sri Lankan defence establishments. .
