The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual AOC's Inspection of the SLAF Station Iranamadu on 06 April 2018.

The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu Group Captain Harsha Nanayakkara and accorded a street line.

The Commander awarded Commendations to Corporal Gunarathana PDN (Operations Guard) & Corporal Weerasekara WMGKGB (Operations Guard) in recognition of their outstanding meritorious services towards the activities of the Station.

The Commander declared open the newly constructed Main Armoury of the Station during the inspection.
