The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was held on 09th April 2018 at the AFHQ Auditorium under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy. The AGM was chaired by the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy and was attended by the Station Seva Vanitha Presidents and the Officers in Charge together with coordinators of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The event commenced with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary SVU, Wing Commander Chamini Gamage. Treasurer SVU Squadron Leader Chamith Ilankoon read the accounts pertaining to the year 2017. Further presentations were conducted on the events carried out by the SLAF SVU at Academy/ Base/ Station level during the year 2017.
