With the idea of facilitating numerous requests made by servicemen and civil personnel the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU), Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy provided assistance aimed at easing their financial burdens to some extent.

Chairperson of SLAF SVU, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy handed over a wheel chair to the father in law of Corporal Ashani on the 09th of April 2018 at the Seva Vanitha Unit, AFHQ Colombo.

In addition, a Juki Machine and two Domestic Sewing Machines were provided on the 10th of April 2018 during the Air Force Avurudu Pola to the following service personnel, civil personnel and family members:

Wife of Mr. Sisira Kumara (Civilian employee of SLAF)
