A Delegation from the Pakistan NDU Visits Air Force Headquarters

A 21-member delegation of the Pakistan National Defence University comprising of Senior Officers of Tri-Services who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to Air Force Headquarters on16 April 2018.
The delegation was headed by Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah. On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Air Vice Marshal Ravi Jayasinghe, Director Training of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
A presentation was conducted by Group Captain Sampath Wicramaratne, the Senior Air Staff Officer of the Directorate of Air Operation on the role of the SLAF during Humanitarian Operations and the evolution of the Sri Lanka Air Force. Members from the Air Force Board of Management were also present for this event which was held at the AFHQ Auditorium.
On conclusion of the presentation, Head of the visiting delegation, Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Mohan De Zoysa exchanged symbolic mementos to mark the event.
