No 61 Flight at SLAF Base Ratmalana celebrated its 5th Anniversary on 5th May 2018 by engaging in a religious program and Sharmadana program at Sandun Viharaya, Ratmalana. They also provided a meal for the children of the Sinha Salsevana at Mattegoda and also handed over gift packs.

The Formation Day Parade was reviewed by the Flight Commander of the No 61 Flight, Wing Commander Sameera Gunawardhane. An Elle Tournament was organized with the participation of all service and civil personnel of the Flight. The Base Commander of SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Commodore Ravindra Liyanagamage participated in the Elle Tournament as the Chief Guest.
