As a part of the expansion of Air Scouts in the SLAF, a membership drive was held today (12th May 2018) at SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala giving an opportunity to the school children in Gampaha area to join. Altogether a total of 184 children came for the enlistment interviews conducted by the SLAF Air Scout Leaders. During the event, an introductory session on Air Scouting was conducted for both parents and children.

Commanding Officer of the SLAF TTS Ekala Group Captain MJR Perera attended as the Chief Guest of the event. SLAF Air Scout Leaders and other officers of SLAF TTS Ekala also attended for the event.
