The SLAF Women’s Team emerged as the Overall Champions while SLAF Men’s Team became the Runner Up at the National Novices Judo Championship 2018 organized by the Sri Lanka Judo Association.
The event was held at Jayathilaka Indoor Stadium, Nawalapitiya from 29 to 31 May 2018.

Both SLAF teams bagged a total of 7 Gold, 6 Silver and 8 Bronze medals at the Championship.
