The 40th Anniversary celebration of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Weerawila took place on 1st June 2018. The anniversary parade was reviewed by the Acting Commanding Officer, Sqn Ldr KC De Silva. A Cricket Tournament was organised and celebrations concluded with an All Ranks Lunch.

In line with the celebrations a Fatigue and Alms Giving Programme was conducted on 30th and 31st May at the “Subadra” Elders Home in Tissamaharama.
