MI 17 Helicopter Rotation to and From MINUSCA

The second helicopter rotation of two Mi-17 helicopters to and from SLAF Aviation Contingent in Central African Republic (MINUSCA) was completed successfully from 30th May to 2nd June 2018 through UN provided AN-124 aircraft.
These two Mi-17 helicopters were deployed for UN peacekeeping mission from 2014 and were eligible for rotation after serving the required period at the mission. The aircraft rotation was coordinated through SLAF UN Mission Cell under the supervision of Chief of Staff, Director Air Operations, Director Aeronautical Engineering and Director Logistics. The entire operation was done at Bangui, Central African Republic.
