'Women’s Rights' Programmme

The Command Legal Department together with Women’s Wing organized a series of programmmes on “Women’s Rights” in order to educate serving women of the Sri Lanka Air Force on rights of women. This 3rd programme was conducted at SLAF Base Ratmalana on 20th June 2018 with the participation of more than 120 Lady Officers and Airwomen from SLAF Base Ratmalana, SLAF Station Colombo, SLAF Station Weerawila, SLAF Station Koggala and SLAF Station Katukurunda.

The guest lecturers were Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ms Bimshani Jasinarachchi representing the Director, Women and Children’s Bureau of the Sri Lanka Police and Sub Inspector Priyanka Bandara from the same Department.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
