With the approval of the Commander of the Air Force and under the guidance Command Dental Officer, Air Cdre WKM Weerasekera, a Dental Clinic was conducted for the past and present school teachers of Walala A. Rathnayake Central College, Manikhinna on 24 June 2018 by the Dental Branch of the SLAF.
 
This clinic was conducted in collaboration with the Nalanda College Old Boys’ Association. Approximately 250 personnel were screened and treated at this clinic. Oral hygiene demonstrations and presentations were conducted for the benefit of personnel who attend the clinic.
