Air Women Ranasinghe KHN and Rajapaksha RMID became the first women in South Asia to complete 200 parachute jumps yesterday (06th July 2010).

 AW 2717 Ranasinghe KHN enlisted to Sri Lanka Air Force in 2002 whilst AW 2723  Rajapaksha RMID was enlisted on year 2007.

Both women has undergone the following courses as female parachutists

                Basic Parachute Course
                Basic Rigger Course
                Basic Sky Diving Course
                Intermediate Sky Divers course
