The SLAF Cricketers, both Men’s and Women’s Teams excelled at the Defence Services Cricket Championship – 2018 which was conducted from 3rd May 2018 to 30th June 2018. The men’s Team became the Joint Champion with SL Army whilst Women’s emerged Runner-up.

The Award Ceremony was conducted at SL Navy Grounds Welisara and the Deputy Chief of Staff of SL Army Major General Kariyakarawana, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Managers and Players of the tri services armed forces were also present at the Awarding Ceremony.
