SLAF Soccer and Hockey Ground Complex Declared Open by Commander
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy declared open the newly constructed Soccer and the Hockey Ground Complex at SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala today (02 July 2018).
This was a long felt requirement of the Air Force which has become a reality and is now dedicated to the future of SLAF Sports. The construction of the Ground Complex was carried out by the Special Ground Maintenance Crew and the Civil Engineering Staff of SLAF Trade Training School Ekala. The event was followed by the Award Ceremony of Inter-Unit Baseball Finals.
The Chief of Staff of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, Members of SLAF Soccer and Hockey, Officers and airmen from the School were present for the opening ceremony.
