Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Station Sigiriya
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Commander’s Inspection at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya today (07th July 2018).
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Station including Station Headquarters, Main Operations Room, 215 Regt Sqn HQ, Works Section, Supply Section, SWO’s Office, MI Room Airmen’s /Airwomen’s Mess and Catering Supply Deport ,Sports Section, WOs’ and SNCOs’ Mess, Officers Transit Block II, Hospitality Management School, Main Guard Room and Tailoring Section.
Concluding the Inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks including the civil personnel and awarded a commendation to Mr GG Krishantha Rathnayake. During the address the Commander encouraged all to strive for excellence and he expressed his appreciation for all the hard work expended by all members towards maintaining the standards of the Station to the highest standards.
