The Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Stations Palavi yesterday (09th July 2010).
 
In SLAF Palavi station Commanding Officer Wing Commander Ranjith Hemachandra received the Commander on his arrival to the Station and a Street Line was conferred by Flight Lieutenant MMPM Marasinghe.

During the inspection Commander declared open the newly built station Main Guard Room, Bomb Disposal Section, a Welfare shop, a saloon and the cook house of the Airmen Mess.

The following personnel were commended by the Commander for exceptionally meritorious execution of duties during the past year.
