The 10th Defence Services Swimming and Water Polo Championship 2018 organised by the SLAF was held from 5th to 13th July 2018 at Aquatic Sports Complex SLAF Base Ratmalana. The finals of the Water Polo matches were held yesterday (13th of July 2018), at which Air Vice Marshal SK Pathirana, the Director Air Operations and the Chairman of SLAF Golf graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The undefeated Air Force Men and Women’s water polo teams were able to smoothly sail through all the matches against the Army and the Navy. Both finals of the men’s and women’s matches were between the Air Force and the Army teams. Both men and women of the SLAF were able to easily win the Defence Services Water Polo Championship 2018. The Sri Lanka Air Force Women’s Team was able to secure overall second placed in the swimming championships.  The list of medal winners follows:
