Regiment Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake emerged as the Men’s Champions while SLAF Academy Cby emerged as the Women's Champions at the Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2018 which was concluded yesterday (13 July 2018) at SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala.

SLAF Station Ampara and SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa became the men’s and women's runners up.

Corporal Wijethilake GMS from SLAF Base Hingurakgoda and Aircraftwoman Athukorala ASK from the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa were adjudged the best lifters in their categories.

Director Ground Operations of SLAF, Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chairman SLAF Power Lifting, Air Commodore Janaka Amarasinghe, Officers and Other ranks were also present at the occasion.
