The Newly Renovated Catalina Chalet Declared Open By The Commander at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Koggala

The Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy declared open the renovated Catalina Chalet at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Koggala yesterday (27 July 2018) on the invitation of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala, Group Captain HTH Dharmadasa. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, the Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal MRK Samarasinghe and Officers of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Koggala were also present to witness the event.  

This Chalet was initially declared opened by Air Marshal OM Ranasinghe, former Commander of the Air Force on 04 August 1995 as a pilot project. Air Field Construction wing did the construction and designed by Directorate of Civil Engineering.
