The Defence Services Karate Championship 2018 was held at 30,31th July and 01st August 2018 at Indoor Stadium of Panagoda Army Cantonment.

SLAF Karate Team bagged 13 Gold, 10 Silver and 14 Bronze Medals, bagging the highest number of Gold Medals in the recent SLAF Karate history. The SLAF men won 08 Gold medals and managed to lead Gold Medals list amongst the Tri Forces.
