43 projects constructed and completed by the SLAF under “Pibidemu Polonnaruwa” were vested in the public on 1st August 2018 by the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena with the participation of Ministers and MPs. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathi also attended for the event.

These projects included the two storied building of Diwlankadawala Maha Vidyalaya and the three storied building of Medirigiriya National College.
