To mark the fourth anniversary of the Dental Hospital at SLAF Station Colombo, an All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was held on 01 August 2018 at the Dental Hospital premises. Subsequently an almsgiving was accorded to members of the Venerable Maha Sanga on the morning of 2 August 2018.

The Command Dental Officer, Air Commodore WKM Weerasekera, Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore GGWTK Gunawardana, Dental Officers and other ranks of the SLAF Dental Branch, civil staff and families also participated in the events.
