Sri Lanka Air Force Station Iranamadu Celebrates 7th Anniversary

Sri Lanka Air Force Station Iranamadu celebrated its 7th anniversary on 3rd August 2018. In parallel to the celebrations, a series of community projects were organized including the Planting of Saplings on the dam site of the recently renovated Iranamadu Tank and a Shramadana Campaign conducted at Alagapuram Maha Vidyalaya on 30th July 2018.
Addressing the gathering during the anniversary celebrations, the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Chaminda Wickramaratne thanked all who contributed to uplift the standard of the station and wished them all the very best for their future endeavors. Cricket and Volleyball tournaments were also held at the station’s playground with the participation of all personnel and celebration proceedings were followed by an all ranks lunch.
