A new house constructed under the 'Guwan Lak Sevana' Housing Project of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) was handed over to Sergeant Bandara RMUJ (OMT I). The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy at Gelioya  today (08 August 2018).

This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing and SLAF Station Sigiriya. Overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal MRK Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya, Wing Commander DCDB Alwis, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present at the ceremony.
