Director Mission Support Pays Courtesy Visit to Sri Lanka Aviation Unit in South Sudan
Director of Mission Support (DMS) for the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Ms. Stephani Scheer visited the Sri Lanka Aviation Unit in United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on 9th August 2018.
The Contingent Commander Squadron Leader Damith Samaraweera welcomed DMS with a street line. After a brief presentation by the Officer Commanding Operations a discussion was held on the matters of mutual interest.
The DMS also joined the customary lunch at the Officers’ Mess and exchanged mementos to mark the occasion. On the invitation of the Contingent Commander, Ms. Scheer planted a sapling to mark her visit, and expressed her gratitude to all contingent members for the devotion and professionalism shown in UNMISS.
