A Delegation of Indian NDC Visits Air Force Headquarters
A 14 -member delegation of Indian National Defence
College (NDC) visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today (28
August 2018).
The delegation was led by Maj Gen SC Mohanty, along with Officers who are currently on their Study Tour to Sri Lanka.
The head of the delegation, Maj Gen SC Mohanty called on Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy where symbolic mementos were exchanged to mark the event.
Air Commodore Sampath Wickramarathne, Senior Air Staff Officer of the Directorate of Air Operations conducted a presentation on the History, Post Conflict Role and Challenges of the Sri Lanka Air Force. The Chief of Staff of SLAF Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias, Members of SLAF Board of Management and Senior Officers were present at the presentation.
