The outgoing Commanding Officer of  Sri Lanka Air Force Station Mirigama, Wing Commander Lasantha Dahanayake ceremonially handed over the command of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Mirigama to Wing Commander Nipuna Thanippuliarachchi, on the morning of the 1st September 2018. The Handing Over Taking Over Ceremony, where the outgoing Commanding Officer handed over the ceremonial baton symbolizing the Command of the Sri Lanka Air Force Station Mirigama, was attended by Officers, Other Ranks and civil staff of the Station.

The traditional “Handing over Taking over” parade was commanded by Squadron Leader SDDJ Ranasinghe.
