SLAF Station Colombo in collaboration with the Blood Bank organized a blood donation campaign to mark the 2nd Anniversary of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy assuming Office, on 21st September 2018 at SLAF Station Colombo premises.

The event was arranged under the initiative of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station   Colombo, Air Commodore Waruna Gunawardana and the Blood donation campaign  was successfully completed with the participation of the Commander of the Air Force, Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, Officers and Airmen of SLAF Station Colombo. A total 192 Air Force personnel donated blood to save the lives of patients.
