SLAF Assist to Conduct Fire and Rescue Drill at BOC Head Office Building

Under the guidance of Director Air Operation, Air Vice Marshal SK Pathirana, the Fire and Rescue Service of the Sri Lanka Air Force assisted in a fire and rescue drill at BOC Head Office building on 05 October 2018.

Officer In Charge of Fire at SLAF Station Colombo , Squadron Leader  RND Senadheera and SLAF Fire Fighters participated in the Firefighting and rescue exercise under the supervision of the Chief Fire Officer of the SLAF, Squadron Leader CP Hettiarachchi.

The SLAF Fire fighters demonstrated several rescue tactics and high angle rescue using the turn table ladder and demonstrated their Firefighting capabilities. Head of Security, BOC Head Office, Brigadier LWH Gamage RWP RSP USP (Retired) also witness the event.  

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
