The Sri Lanka Air Force participated in the Techno Sri Lanka -2018,  a three-day exhibition organized by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka in keeping with theme of 'Engineering the Green Future', declared open for the public on 12, 13 and 14 October 2017 at BMICH.

In today’s rapidly changing world, engineers are in the forefront of this change. Expectations are very high with the Planet’s resources depleting fast. Technology is expected to reach the masses and make them do things differently, as doing ‘business as usual’ will not leave behind a healthy planet. The “Green Future” concept adds new dimensions to traditional ideas of comfortable livelihood and has gained momentum as a fast emerging, wide spectrum game changer, making everyday life more affordable to the benefit of a wider global population for sustainable living, without compromising the existence of future generations.
