Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Base Ratmalana
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, conducted the Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Base Ratmalana yesterday (16 October 2018).
The Commander reviewed the Commander’s Inspection Parade, commanded by the Base Commander, Air Commodore RS Wickremeratne. Certificates of commendation were awarded during the parade to 6 SNCOs, a Corporal, 2 Leading Aircraftmen and 2 civilians for their meritorious contributions to the Base in particular and to the Air Force in general.

During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Base.
Concluding the Commander’s Inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks including the civilian personnel and commended their hard work in uplifting and maintaining the standards of the Base.
