An eventful day of community services and recreational activities marked the celebration of the 66th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School Diyatalawa under the guidance of the Commanding Officer Air Commodore WWPD Fernando together with all the Officers, Other ranks and the Civilian staff. The day’s celebrations were begun with a formal parade and the staff was addressed by the Commanding Officer Air Commodore WWPD Fernando on the formation day of 15th October 2018.

In the sequence, a Shramadana campaign was held at Ayurvedic Hospital Diyatalawa while the Post Office Diyatalawa and Elderly Home Bandarawela were colour washed on 11th and 12th of October 2018 respectively.

This was followed by a series of spirited sport events which was witnessed by members of the School in which true camaraderie was marked. The day’s events concluded with all ranks lunch on 15th October 2018.
