Air Force Open Squash Championship - 2018

The 13th Open Squash Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force was held from 20 October 2018 with the participation of more than 300 and successfully concluded yesterday (27 October 2018) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Squash Complex, Ratmalana.
Ravindu Laksiri and Fathoum Issadeen won the Men’s and Women’s Open Championships respectively.
The Championship was worked off in the age groups of Under 9, 13, 15, 17, 19, over 35, 45 and 50. It also included open event for men and women.
The Director Ground Operations of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairman of SLAF Squash, Air Commodore SD Kotage, Base Commander of the SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Commodore RS Wickramarathna, President of the Sri Lanka Squash Federation Air Commodore Ajith Abesekara (Retired) and Senior Officers of the SLAF also witnessed the finals and awards ceremony.
