The Sri Lanka Air Force was adjudged the first runner up in the Department Sector at the  2nd Best Annual Report and Accounts Awards for the public sector organized by the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka (APFASL) at the BMICH on 29 October 2018

Several of Sri Lanka’s top public sector organizations including universities, ministries and departments among others were honoured for their high quality financial reporting. A total of 26 public institutions were honoured at the awards ceremony.

The Sri Lanka Air Force was adjudged the Runner Up in the department sector. The Deputy Chief of Staff of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal AM De Zoysa and the Command Internal Auditor, Wing Commander RR Somathilaka. The award was officially handed over to the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy by the Command Internal Auditor, Wing Commander RR Somathilaka yesterday at the Commander’s Office.
