The 36th Anniversary of SLAF Base Anuradhapura was celebrated today (09 November 2018). To commemorate the event, a CSR Program, Religious activities and recreational activities were organized under the guidance of the Base Commander together with all Officers, other ranks and the civil staff.

The Base day celebration commenced with the morning parade which was reviewed by Wing Commander WWNTP Fernando and followed by sport activities. The event concluded with an All Ranks Lunch.

Coinciding with the Base Day celebrations, a Shramadana Campaign and donation of dry rations were conducted at the “Sarana Sewana Girls Home” on the 07th and 08th of November 2018. An alms giving was arranged for 100 venerable monks at the Mahinda Maha Pirivena on the 2nd of November 2018.
