Ten (10) new Honda XR 650L trail bikes were inducted in to the SLAF Special Air Borne Force yesterday (12 November 2018) at AFHQ.

The induction ceremony was held at AFHQ under the auspice of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy. The Director Ground Operations, Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando, Director General Engineering, Air Vice Marshal AWE Wijesuriya, Staff Officer General Engineering 1, Air Commodore LMSK Leelarathne, Commanding Officer of the No 45 VIP Protection Wing, Group Captain UPYR Pathirana, the Officer Commanding Technical Services of SLAF Station Colombo, Wing Commander GTUI Wijerathne and the Commanding Officer of the SABF Wing, Wing Commander HMC Herath were also present along with SABF Riders and Airmen.
