The SLAF Angampora Team clinched the first ever Sri Lanka’s Got Talent Title at the Sri Lanka’s Got Talent Grand Finale which was concluded on 30 September 2018 at Stein Studios, Rathmalana. The SLAF Angampora Team led by Ajantha  Mahantharachchi was able to secure the golden buzzer from Mr. TM Dilshan during the preliminary rounds which sent them directly to the live stage of the competition. During the Finals there were six participants out of which the SLAF Angampora Team emerged victors of the first ever Sri Lanka’s Got Talent competition.

The cash prize was handed over to the SLAF at a ceremony held at the ‘Headquarters Capital Maharaja' yesterday afternoon (12 November 2018). The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy accepted the cash prize on behalf of the SLAF from Group Director Electronic Media Business, Mrs. Needra Weerasinghe.  SLAF Officers, Officials of Sirasa TV and Team Members of Angampora Team also present to witness the event.
