The 40th Anniversary of SLAF Base Hingurakgoda was celebrated yesterday (23 November 2018). To commemorate the event the following programmes were conducted under the guidance of the Base Commander, Group Captain VB Edirisinghe together with all officers, other ranks and civilian staff.

A Blood donation campaign was conducted on 21 November 2018 with the participation officers, other ranks and civilians of the Base.

A Bana programme was conducted on 22 November 2018 at No 09 Squadron hanger with the participation of the officers, other ranks and civilian staff.

A Tree Planting Programme was conducted on 23 November 2018.

A social was arranged for all service personnel including a Cricket Tournament and Net Ball matches. The event was concluded with an all rank lunch.
