The annual sports meet of the  pre-school at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo was held today (27th July 2010) at  the Rifle Green Grounds.

Seventy nine kids belong to upper kindergarten and lower kindergarten  participated in events which were designed to build personality and confidence in them and to learn how to work as a team.   

The proceedings were started after lighting the Olympic Lamp and for the first time kids performed a band display, which made the event more colourful.

The International pre-school Colombo at SLAF Colombo provides education to 79 kids from both service and civil personnel. This pre-school was upgradedto International standards in year 2007 on a  concept of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Nelun Goonetileke.

The Commanding Officer 28 Regiment Wing SLAF Station Colombo Wing Commander Athula Nanayakkara graced the event as the Chief Guest.
