Annual Community Service projects of No 9 Attack Helicopter Squadron was carried out on the 29th of November 2018. The entire book list, school uniform materials, bags and shoes were given to school children. Further, upon a request made by the Principal of the Bebiyawewa Primary School, a laser printer was donated to the school. The repairing of the water purification plant was a long outstanding project due to the non-availability of adequate clean drinking water at the Kumudupura Primary School.

The project was carried out under the directives of the Commanding Officer of No 9 Attack Helicopter Squadron, Wing Commander KMSPB Kulathunga with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks of the Squadron.

The following underprivileged schools in the Medirigiriya area were facilitated by this project.

•    Kumudupura Primary School
•    Bebiyawewa Primary School
•    Wadigawewa Primary School

Books required for the year 2019 with other accessories contributed by the servicemen of the Squadron, donors and well-wishers were distributed among children.
