The Directorate of Media of the SLAF felicitated past members of the Air Force Media at a ceremony held at Air Force Headquarters yesterday (8 December 2018). This event was organized with the blessings of the Commander of the Air Force, under the guidance of the Director Media, Group Captain MDAG Seneviratne at the Directorate premises. The past members that were able to attend for the felicitation are;

The contribution of the following officers in the establishment of the Directorate was also recognized by naming them as Honorary Associates of the SLAF Media:

Group Captain MPA Mahawattage - CO General Engineering Wing

The patrons and associates were taken on a walkthrough of the Directorate of Media and thereafter were conducted to the Rifle Green Officers’ Club for a social. There they were taken down memory lane and also briefed on the new and improved functions of the Directorate of Media.

Following this, the Patrons and Associates were presented with mementos and letters of appreciation by the present Director Media. There after the social continued where present and past members of the Media reminisced about the ‘Footsteps’ of Air Force Media.
