The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy accepted five (05) wheel chairs and five (05) Juki machines donated by the Colombo Capital City Lions Club today (11 December 2018) at the Seva Vanitha Unit, AFHQ Colombo.

Further, taking into consideration numerous requests made by servicemen and civil personnel, the Commander of Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit took steps to provide assistance to a number of worthy causes.

A Sewing Machine was provided for Wife of Mr. Nihal Ranjith (SLAF Civilian) of SLAF Station Colombo.

Three Juki machines were handed over today to the following service and civil personnel:

Wife of Leading Air Craftsmen Harshadeva RHC
Wife of Sargent Chandrasekara CTR
Wife of Mr RA Jayantha Nihal Ranasinghe (SLAF Civilian)

Moreover, a scholarship for the daughter of Mr. SK Silva (SLAF Civilian) was handed over at AFHQ today.
