Graduation Ceremony of DSCSC Course No.12
The Graduation Ceremony of Course No. 12 of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Sapugaskanda was held at the Main Auditorium of DSCSC today (12th December 2018). His Excellency the President, Maithripala Sirisena graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
A total of 136 officers comprising of 68 Army, 27 Navy, 27 Air Force and 14 foreign student officers graduated on this occasion upon successful completion of the year-long course.
Squadron Leader WGBG Wanasinghe and Squadron Leader DLA Manage of the Sri Lanka Air Force were awarded Commandants honours. Squadron Leader WGBG Wanasinghe was also adjudged the Most Outstanding Student Officer of the Air Wing and was awarded the “Golden Owl" Award.
The Chief of Defence Staff Admiral RC Wijegunaratne, the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General NUMMW Senanayake, Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral SS Ranasinghe, Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal KVB Jayampathy, Members of the Board of Management of the DSCSC, Senior Officers of the tri forces were also present the occasion.
