Special Donation Programme by Seva Vanitha Unit

Taking into consideration numerous requests made by servicemen and civil personnel, the Commander of Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy took steps to provide assistance to number of worthy causes.The following donations were handed over on 14 January 2019 at the Seva Vanitha Unit with the participation of the Chairperson.
Two Sewing Machines were provided for wives of Corporal Senarathne A and Mr. MAP Madurapperuma (SLAF Civilian).
A Juki Machine was handed over to the wife of Leading Aircraftman Deshappriya HWR.
Four Scholarships were handed over to the children of following service personnel accordingly.
Son of Sergeant Singhapura SDSI
Daughter of Corporal Kumara RMC
Son and Daughter of Flight Sergeant Udayakara WSA (Retired)
Moreover a wheel chair was handed over to the daughter of Corporal Kumara RMC.
