Air Vice Marshal Sagara Kotakadeniya Appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the KDU

Air Vice Marshal Sagara Kotakadeniya took over duties as the new Vice Chancellor of the General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University yesterday (16 January 2019).
The new Vice Chancellor was received at the University and accorded a Tri-Services Guard of Honour before he officially took over duties as the new Vice Chancellor.
Air Vice Marshal Kotakadeniya joined the Sri Lanka Air Force as an Officer Cadet on 3rd July 1985 and was commissioned as a Pilot Officer in the General Duties Pilot Branch on 1st January 1987.
Air Vice Marshal Kotakadeniya has attended many different professional courses local and abroad. He is a graduate of the prestigious National Defence University of Beijing, PLA China and holds a Masters Degree in Defence and Strategic Management Studies from University of Madras, India.
The Faculty and Staff of the KDU and Tri-Service Officers attended for the occasion.
