Group Captain RP Liyanagamage handed over the command of Sri Lanka Air Force Base Anuradhapura to Group Captain PDKT Jayasinghe Recently.
 
Group Captain RP Liyanagamage served as the Acting Base Commander of this Air Base from 26 August 2009 to 14 July 2010.

Group Captain PDKT Jayasinghe resumed command after his return from the Allied Officers War Course in Pakistan.

The traditional “handing over taking over” parade was commanded by Squadron Leader KMSVK Kariyapperuma.
