The Annual All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony organized by the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa to invoke blessings on those who made the supreme sacrifice in the name of the country, all serving members in the SLAF, sister services and their families was held on 24 January 2019 under the patronage of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore WWPD Fernando.

The Pirith Chanting was followed by an almsgiving for 68 Venerable Maha Sangha and the reliquary (karaduwa) was taken to the  school premises in a colourful procession.
 
Officers, Other Ranks, Civilian Staff and families of the School participated for the ceremony and the almsgiving.
